POMOMC, formerly known as the Pennsylvania Mothers of Twins club, was founded in May, 1971, in Lebanon, PA and is a non-commercial, non-sectarian, and non-profit organization. POMOMC is comprised of 36 member clubs and approximately 1500 women in the states of Pennsylvania and Delaware. POMOMC’s purpose is to support, organize, and facilitate communication of the member clubs.
Becki Wieder is Lehigh Valley MOTC’s state representative. She is responsible for bringing any state club information back to our local club. Becki is a full-time working mom to three daughters, twins and a singleton.

TWIN NEWS: “Twins in the Classroom” legislation has been passed!
On July 4th, 2008, Governor Rendell signed into Law HB1067. Section 4 of this bill contains the wording from HB65. This legislation is now the LAW!
To view the bill go to www.legis.state.pa.us and type HB1067 into the “Find Legislation By” box in the upper right corner.
The law will be in effect beginning with the 2008-2009 school year. Anyone with children who may be affected by this law for this school year may want to notify their school district’s superintendent if necessary.
The Lehigh Valley Mothers of Twins Club has donated a total of $4000.00 to the Whitcomb Memorial Scholarship Fund. Established in 1974 the Doris & Lonnie Whitcomb Scholarship Fund is awarded annually to eligible recipients seeking post secondary education or training. Eligible recipients are active members or the offspring of an active member of a local club in good standing with POMOMC.
