This year the Pennsylvania Organization of Mothers of Multiples 38th Annual Convention was held April 23, 24, 25 in Scranton PA, hosted by the Lackawanna Mothers of Twins and Triplets with the theme FLASHBACK TO THE 70'S IN THE ELECTRIC CITY! Proceeds from the 2009 POMOMC convention will go to support the Women's Resource Center and the Catherine McAuley Center. Both organizations assist women and children in crisis. Only paid registered members of POMOMC affiliated clubs are eligible to attend the convention.

BIG NEWS: "Twins in the Classroom" legislation has been passed!

On July 4th, 2008, Governor Rendell signed into Law HB1067. Section 4 of this bill contains the wording from HB65. This legislation is now the LAW!

The law will be in effect beginning with the 2008-2009 school year. Anyone with children who may be affected by this law for this school year may want to notify their school district's superintendent if necessary.
